Retro Rewind: The Cursed VHS releases November 1, 2026.
The initial release is a Windows digital download. Steam and additional platforms are planned for later, but no dates have been announced.
No. This is a single-player game with two selectable heroes: Mat and Marge.
Tested on Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit Intel/AMD PCs.
Choose your download:
Play with a keyboard or compatible game controller. Keyboard controls can be remapped, with separate music and sound-effects settings.
Progress saves automatically on your computer, unlocking levels as you reach them. Return through Menu → Load Level to replay unlocked stages. This remembers level access, rather than your exact position mid-level.
The EXE and browser versions use separate saves. For the browser version, use the same browser/profile and keep the extracted folder in the same location. Clearing browser data may erase progress.
Mac and Linux compatibility has not yet been verified. The EXE is Windows-only.
Windows security notice: The current beta EXE is unsigned, so Windows may display a SmartScreen warning.
Not yet. Purchasing opens at release for $4.99 USD.
